Adding a race

Open ANIMA HYBRID, tap Add a race, and type your finish time on the pad like a stopwatch: 1 2 4 0 5 is 1:24:05. That alone gives you a percentile and a Race Card. Tap Add my splits too for the station-by-station report; each field advances by itself once four digits are in. If you have your splits on the clipboard, tap the clipboard icon top-right and ANIMA HYBRID will read all seventeen numbers at once.

My splits add up to more than my finish time

ANIMA HYBRID will tell you rather than silently guessing. Published splits are often rounded, so check the one you most likely mistyped. Everything between a run and a station — racking weights, chalking, walking to the next lane — is counted as transition time, which is your finish time minus your runs and stations.

Where do the benchmarks come from?

Published aggregate data from race analyses and peer-reviewed studies, plus anonymised results contributed by other ANIMA HYBRID users. Every number shows the sample size behind it, and anything extrapolated rather than measured is labelled estimated. Why does it ask for my gender and age?

Because a percentile against the wrong bracket is worse than no percentile. Published benchmarks only exist per division, gender band and age band. ANIMA HYBRID stores the band, never a date of birth, and you can change it on any race.

Subscriptions

The station analysis, your percentile, your spoken debrief and unlimited Race Cards are free. Pro adds the training plan, readiness, projections, the Hybrid Athlete Score, ghost challenges and simulation history. There are four ways to pay for it:

• Monthly — £7.99, renews every month.
• Yearly — £59.99, with a 21-day free trial, renews every year.
• Anima Athlete — £24.99 once, for twelve weeks from purchase. It does not renew; access simply ends after twelve weeks.
• Anima Founding — £179 once, for the first 250 members only. It does not renew.

All four are billed by Apple or Google. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; we cannot cancel it for you. The two one-off purchases have nothing to cancel. Restore purchases is in Settings if you change phone. If a purchase failed, nothing was charged.

Joining a gym board

Ask your coach for the six-character gym code, then open Board and enter it. Only your display name and your times appear on the board — never your device id. Coaches: see gyms.

Deleting or exporting my ANIMA HYBRID data

Settings → Export my data downloads everything we hold as JSON. Settings → Delete my data wipes this device, deletes your rows on our server and subtracts your contribution from the shared benchmark totals. It cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app, email support@animahybrid.app with the subject "Delete my data" and the display name or gym code you used; we delete within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted: your race and workout times, bracket, display name, city, gym and squad memberships, and the random device identifier. What is kept: nothing that identifies you. Anonymous benchmark counters have your contribution subtracted; subscription records are held by Google Play and RevenueCat under their own retention rules.
