Last updated 22 September 2026. ANIMA HYBRID is operated by Anima Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

1. The service

ANIMA HYBRID analyses race and workout times you enter, compares them with benchmark data, and generates training suggestions. Using it means you accept these terms.

2. Not affiliated with any event

ANIMA HYBRID is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any race organiser, event brand or governing body. Any reference to a race format is descriptive only. All trademarks belong to their owners.

3. Benchmarks are estimates

Benchmarks come from published aggregate data and from anonymised results contributed by other users. The app shows the sample size behind every number and labels anything extrapolated as estimated. Percentiles, projections and the Hybrid Athlete Score are estimates and not official rankings or measurements. Do not rely on them for selection, qualification or any other decision that matters.

4. Training and health

ANIMA HYBRID is not a medical service and does not give medical advice. Training plans, drills and prescriptions are general information generated by rules from the numbers you entered. Get clearance from a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme, stop if you feel unwell or in pain, and use your own judgement on load and technique. You train at your own risk.

5. Your content

Your times and any display name you type stay yours. You grant us a licence to process them to provide the service and to include them, anonymised and aggregated, in the shared benchmarks — which you can switch off in Settings. Do not enter anything unlawful, offensive or impersonating someone else as a display name; we may remove it.

6. Subscriptions

ANIMA HYBRID Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play in four forms. The price, and any free trial, is shown before you buy.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel them in your Apple or Google account settings — not through us.

Anima Athlete is a single payment for twelve weeks (84 days) of Pro from the moment of purchase. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Access ends automatically when the twelve weeks are up.

Anima Founding is a single payment, offered to the first 250 purchasers only, for Pro for the lifetime of the app — meaning for as long as Anima Labs Ltd continues to offer ANIMA HYBRID. It does not renew. It is personal to the account it was bought on and cannot be transferred. If we ever withdraw the app, we will tell you in the app first.

Pro's features may change over time as the app develops. Refunds for all four are handled by the store under its own policy, which does not affect your statutory rights. Gym plans are billed separately by invoice under a separate agreement.

7. Leaderboards

Times are self-reported. We apply sanity limits and rate limits but cannot verify a result. We may remove entries or boards that are obviously fabricated or abusive.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, submit automated or fabricated results, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend access for any of these.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Anima Labs Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on a benchmark, projection or training suggestion. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

10. Changes and termination

We may change these terms and will note material changes in the app. You can stop using ANIMA HYBRID and delete your data at any time.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
